Amateur Radio “Field Day 2024”
WHO/WHAT: Members of the COPPER COUNTRY RADIO AMATEUR ASSOCIATION and the KEWEENAW COUNTY REPEATER ASSOCIATION will be participating in the national amateur radio Field Day exercise, June 22-23. Since 1933, ham radio operators across North America have established temporary ham radio stations in public locations during Field Day to showcase the science and skill of amateur radio. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
WHEN: From 2pm Saturday, June 22, to 2pm Sunday, June 23.

CopperDog 150
The 2024 CopperDog 150, CopperDog 80, CopperDog 30, and CopperDog 15 have been cancelled.
The CopperDog 150 will be March 1-3, 2024.

Swap & Shop Saturday September 16, 2023
We are hoping that the beginning of summer is soon, and the end of summer is a long way off in the distance, but we’d like you to mark your calendar now for our annual Swap & Shop that has been moved to September 16, 2023. For ages we held this event in February, but plans are to host it annually in the fall.
Other than that, everything is the same. Location is the Negaunee Township Hall on M-35 just south of the U.S. Hwy 41 and M-35 intersection. Times are 0900 to 1300. We’ll have lots of door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Refreshments will be available.
Here is only a small sample of what will be on our club table. I realize it is scheduled down the road somewhat but please mark your calendar now, so you don’t miss it. Please let your club members be aware of our upcoming Swap & Shop.
